On February 22, a car crashed into the Middlesex Hospital Emergency Department front entrance and a fire ensued. All patients and staff members were safe, but as you know, there was substantial smoke and water damage to our building.

As a Hospital, we needed to clean and restore our Emergency Department and its adjoining lobby quickly to provide emergency services to the communities that we serve.

We set an ambitious timeline and enlisted the help of many contracted workers.

Your employees worked around the clock to help us restore our facility in such a short period, and they've been an essential part of our team. They took pride in their work, cared about the cause and put in the time and effort. Each of your employees represented your company extremely well, and they did whatever it took to get the job done. I cannot say enough about their work ethic and character, and it is difficult to put into words just how thankful we are for their help and support.

You should be very proud of your company and your employees. I am!

The Emergency Department reopened to treat patients on March 3, and amazingly, our lobby reopened on March 6. Neither of these accomplishments would have been possible without the help of your company.

After owning an old cottage in Old Saybrook, CT for about 15 years, our family decided it was time to upgrade the outside by having old aluminum siding replaced with new vinyl siding. Under the aluminum was asbestos shingles and we wanted those removed as well. Not knowing much about asbestos abatement, we wanted to make sure it was done properly so there would be no issues.

We contacted Environmental Group and they came right out and took the time to walk us through exactly what they would be doing and how long it would take along with answers to other questions we had. Environmental gave a very fair quote and followed it up in writing along with making us comfortable about the process.

They showed up promptly on the date they were to start and explained all the steps they were doing as they went along. The Environmental Group workers were extremely respectful of our property and made sure that ALL asbestos was removed with no residue what so ever. Safety is the name of their game! Christopher Maahs & his team are definitely the ones to go to for abatement projects big or small. Their professionalism shows through in every detail of the job. Our family is beyond satisfied with the job & recommend them most highly for all such projects……..Environmental Group is the one to go to!

I returned home to MD last night and wanted to let you know as soon as I could how grateful my mother and I are for the work all of you did remediating the mold problem at my residence in Quaker Hill. Thank you for your prompt response to my query, for coming out to the house to assess the problem on such short notice, and for quickly and efficiently solving it in a short time. The work in the upstairs bathroom, the one requiring the most time and labor, has turned out beautifully. The 1950’s wall tiles (part of the allure of this older building,) were carefully removed and very well replaced. The wall paper is back to its original luster. Most importantly, the work concerning health and habitability remains behind the walls. The repairs to the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom, the newly cleaned and sprayed walls, and the sprayed carpet of the basement all add up to a great professional job.

I want to thank you personally, Chris, for your hands on involvement, and to commend your experienced, punctual, clean, thoughtful and inventive staff for their excellent work. You are fortunate to have them working with you.
